In October, we’ve welcomed three new institutions allowing us to increase our presence in the Eastern townships and in Montreal, as well as include a second and a third pharmacy in our new market.
We want to start by welcoming the Daniel Desruisseaux, Gérard Laliberté, Nathalie Chouinard, Pharmaciens S.E.N.C. pharmacies, located in East Angus and Cookshire. The proximity between these two establishments and the Manoir de l’Eau Vive retirement home as well as the Haut-St-François FMG who are also Omnimed clients, will help reinforcing interinstitutional and interdisciplinary work, ensuring a better follow-up of patients and facilitating communication between stakeholders.
We’re also proud to have welcomed the GMA de la Rivière clinic at the end of October. Together, the 5 nurses and 7 general practionners offer diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia, osteoporosis and vaccination services as well as medical follow-ups to their clients, besides offering a walk-in clinic for the general population. The clinic, opened since the beginning of 2015, also offers pharmacy, psychology, orthotist, dietitian and physiotherapy services as well as medical aesthetic treatments (thanks to the new plastic surgeon).
Finally, the Novomed medical clinic has also joined our community. They say that given the context in which many citizens in the greater metropolitan area have had difficulties to access physician services, Dr. Trevor Wesson and nurse clinician Charles Trudel decided to create the Novomed medical clinic. Its strategic location along with its multiple medical and paramedical services allows them to answer patients' needs, while optimising the time they spend in the establishment. Here’s a list of the services offered: family medicine (2 general practionners), nurse follow-up, physiotherapist, counselling, podiatrist, pharmacist, vaccination clinic, travel clinic and collection centre.
We’re happy to welcome all all of them among us.
