Launch of the Programme québécois d'adhésion aux dossiers médicaux électroniques en spécialité (PQADMÉS)
By introducing an EMR system in the offices of specialist doctors, the Ministry of Health and Social Services (MSSS) aims, among other things, to enhance the quality and security of patients' clinical data, foster multidisciplinary collaboration, promote improved interoperability, and optimize appointment management.
Who can claim this grant?
To be eligible, you need to:
To be in compliance with the Collège des médecins du Québec
Offer services insured by the RAMQ in a medical office at least 2 days per month
Participate in all ministerial projects related to the integration of technologies and EMR optimization
Acquire (if this is not already the case) and use a certified EMR of your choice
How to claim it?
In order to get a refund under the PQADMÉS for the use of Omnimed's EMR, the Ministry of Health and Social Services (MSSS) offers a multi-step membership process.

How much can I get?
The PQADMÉS offers targeted specialist physicians the following financial incentives and reimbursements:

A lump sum of $2,600, per specialist doctor, for change management related to the implementation of an EMR;

A maximum amount of $2,200 per year, per specialist doctor, to refund the costs of the EMR user licence.
Please note that the duration of the program is currently five years and it is currently possible to make a claim for 2023.
