The Private billing module allows you to search for and display an existing invoice, enabling you, for example, to modify and reprint the invoice, or pay a balance due.
View an existing invoice
Print the invoice
Email the invoice

View an existing invoice
- Access the Private billing module from the Patient administrative center.
- Search for the invoice from the History section, either via the search bar (search by date, type, number, company, third-party payer or total amount associated with the invoice) or via the invoice list by sorting by column (sort by date, type, number, company, third-party payer, total).
- Click on an invoice in the list to display its contents and action buttons. Click on the arrow to reduce the display if necessary.
Print an invoice
When in the history of invoices, click on the printer icon to the right of the invoice to start printing .
When modifying an invoice, click on Print at the bottom of the invoice.
Send an invoice by email
When in the history of invoices, click on the email icon to the right of the invoice to send it by email.
When modifying an invoice, click on Send by email at the bottom of the invoice.
Pay invoice balance
The invoice balance is displayed in red if there is an outstanding balance on the invoice. Click on the Pay button to proceed with payment.
It is also possible to click on Record a payment, and then select the amount that you want to pay.
The payment on the invoice is then documented in the Transactions section.
Modify the invoice
It is possible to modify the content of the invoice if no payment has yet been made:
- Click on the Modify button, then add or remove items from the invoice in the same way as when creating it.
- Click on Save to save changes.
Refund invoice
*Feature available to administrator account holders only.
To make a refund :
- Click on the Modify button at the bottom of the invoice.
- Click on the Refund button at the bottom of the invoice.
- Select the reimbursement method. The amount displayed corresponds to the amount paid on the invoice. If necessary, modify the amount to be paid and add a comment.
- Click on the Refund button to save the refund. The refund is documented in the Transactions section.
Credit an invoice
*This feature is available to administrator account holders only.
To save a credit note :
- Click on the Modify button at the bottom of the invoice.
- Click on the Credit button at the bottom of the invoice.
- The amount displayed corresponds to the invoice total. Note that it is not possible to modify the amount to be credited. If necessary, add a comment.
- Click on the Credit button to save the credit note. The credit is documented in the Credit notes section.
